Izumi Tanaka has become a princess who wears pants instead of pastel dresses, dates her former bodyguard, and has a Tamagotchi dog of unknown pedigree. The princess's father, the crown prince, also defiantly rejects imperial rules and traditions, because he has renewed his relationship with Izumi's mother.
